The Quebec Thistle Council, under the Chairmanship of T.R. Anthony Malcolm, K.C.H.J., KLJ, FSA Scot, is the umbrella group representing Quebec Scottish-oriented organizations. The Auld Alliance Awards are presented annually by the Quebec Thistle Council to winners in several categories including Scottish music, cuisine, culture, athlete of the year, country and highland dancing, piping and “Scotswoman-of-the-Year”.
